چکیده
Intra-cell travel is a difficult topic in zone-based demand models. In the past, different strategies were applied to approximate average intra-cell distances by using zone size, diameter, neighbors and other techniques. this work we examine new approach which uses address coordinates high performance routing program achieve more accurate results. We apply our method three zoning schemes for city of Berlin, Germany. The result consists each based on all potential destinations. Surprisingly, ratio network distance beeline independent from tested. This detour-factors depend only street network. For larger than 400 m, identify simple transfer function between distance, extends classic functions zones intra-zone distances. show that many below 100 m belong second class routes, corresponds Manhattan-block grid.
